Former SOE Minister Invites Thousands Of MDS Cooperative Members To Support Prabowo Subianto
JAKARTA - Former SOE minister for the 2014-2019 period, Rini Soemarno, invited thousands of members of the Prosperous Digital Mekar Cooperative (MDSmen) to support presidential candidate number 2 Prabowo Subianto to win the 2024 presidential election.
"My brothers and sisters, we as a big MDS family must take care of each other and support each other, and work hard as much as possible, by reminding our husbands, wives, brothers and sisters to support our family, namely Mr. Prabowo, to become president of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024-2029," said Rini quoting Antara.
Rini, who is also the chairman of the MDS Board of Trustees, believes that if Prabowo becomes president of the Republic of Indonesia, then not only will MDS members be independent and prosperous, but also all Indonesian people.
"May Allah Swt grant our common hope, namely Mr. Prabowo Subianto to become president of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029, which will prosper us all," said Rini.
He revealed that by the end of 2023, MDS had appointed Prabowo Subianto as chairman of the Honorary Council.
"MDS has an extraordinary new member, namely Mr. Prabowo Subianto. He is willing to be the chairman of the MDS Honorary Council. Thank you Mr. Prabowo," said Rini.
According to him, after becoming chairman of the honorary council, Prabowo was active in holding talks with MDS members.
Rini explained that the cooperative, which was formed two years ago, now has 47,913 members, consisting of the employee community, TransJakarta bus drivers, cassava farmers, and the micro business community.

"Although MDS is not yet big, the MDS family in the past two years has been able to build houses, which are beneficial to all of us," said Rini.
The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia has determined three participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3.
The 2024 election campaign period will take place from 28 November 2023 to 10 February. After the campaign period, there was a calm period on 11-13 February. Then, the voting schedule took place simultaneously on February 14, 2024.
