New Song Offering Andre Taulany To The Grandmother, Maimunah

JAKARTA - Andre Taulany has released a new single titled Maimunah on Friday, January 19. The title of the song is taken from the grandmother's name.

Andre Taulany spent more teenagers at his grandparents' home than at his parents' house. The former Stinky vocalist even lives at his grandmother's residence in Kedoya, West Jakarta throughout high school.

Even so, the lyrics of Maimunah's song do not describe the relationship between her grandchildren and grandmother, or how Andre was cared for by his grandmother as a teenager.

The lyrics of Maimunah's song tell about the feeling of a man's love for a woman named Maimunah.

"Oh Maimunah, I love you. Even though your papa doesn't like it, I still love you," reads the chorus of Maimunah's song. "Oh Maimunah, I love you. Once Maimunah is still Maimunah forever."

Berdasarkan Spotify, Maimunah merupakan lagu yang dirilis Andre Taulany sebagai solois. Sebelumnya, ia pernah berkerjakan ulang hits dari Rinto Harahap yang berjudul Ayah pada tahun 2020. Selanjutnya, Andre merilis Bulan di tahun 2021, lagu yang ditulis oleh Tito P Soenardi.

Meanwhile, Maimunah was written by Andre Taulany himself, and the production process was assisted by Yogie Feldian, Andy Machdar, and Dinul under the music label Taulany Music.
