Some Of His Ministers Resign, Jokowi: His Name Is Political Year, We Meet Every Day

The issue of some ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet will back down in the last few days. Due to the emergence of this issue, Indonesian President Joko Widodo has denied it, including the question of the resignation of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, from the fast-paced Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

"We charge the minister every day, every day we have a limited meeting, every day we have an internal meeting, every day with all ministers or with some ministers," said President Jokowi when met after attending the 78th Anniversary of NU Muslimat at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, January 20.

As if to ward off the news, President Jokowi emphasized that every day he held an internal meeting with ministers from morning to night.

He admitted that in every meeting with the different ministers, he did not find any problems.

"Yes, from whom? Our Wong from morning to evening, morning and evening, we have plenary meetings, internal meetings, limited meetings, there is always no pause. Every hour, every two hours we change meetings, we change ministers too, there is no problem," said Jokowi.

According to him, the issue of the minister's resignation is one of the things related to politics, considering that it has entered the political month or ahead of the 2024 election democracy party in February.

However, the Head of State emphasized that the ministers were still working routinely as usual.

"Yes, it's called the political month, the political year, yes, everything will be related to political matters, but it's normal for us to work normally, work regularly," said Jokowi.

As reported, senior economist Faisal Basri in a discussion event in Jakarta recently said Sri Mulyani was the minister who was morally the most prepared to withdraw from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.

Apart from Sri Mulyani, Faisal also said that the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono was ready to resign. According to Faisal, the minister from the technocrats is ready to resign because of the issue of the President's support in the presidential election.
