Tennis Player Belia Mirra Andreeva Creates Good Comeback At The 2024 Australian Open

JAKARTA The 16-year-old tennis player, Mirra Andreeva, made an interesting comeback to reach the fourth round of the 2024 Australian Open.

The Russian athlete saved a match point in the third set to beat French tennis player Diane Parry, with a score of 1-6, 6-1, 7-6 (10-5), on Friday, January 19, 2024, afternoon WIB.

Andreeva had trailed 1-5 in the determination set before changing things to extend its journey at the Grand Slam event earlier this season.

He was recorded as breaking the opponent's serve in five games in a row to win the game through a tense tie-break.

This result further sharpened Andreeva's sweet record at the Grand Slam event. The tennis player who appeared for the first time at the Australian Open last year also reached the fourth round at Wimbledon.

Previously in the second half, Andreeva was recorded as repatriating the sixth ranked player in the world, Ons Jabeur. The win was his first win over tennis players in the world's top 10 rankings.
