Regarding Strategy For 2024, HPM: Present Updates, Add Models To Expand Service

JAKARTA - Impressive sales were achieved by Honda Indonesia during 2023. According to data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), the wholesales achieved by the company amounted to 138,967 units, an increase of 5.9 percent from the previous year.

The impressive score was also followed by retail sales of this branded vehicle by recording 128,010 units during 2023 or an increase of 2.1 percent from the acquisition in 2022. However, regarding this success, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) as an ATPM does not want to be complacent in welcoming the 2024 period.

Yusak Billy, as Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT HPM, said that his party would carry out the Movement by presenting updates on several model lines for this year, although it was not stated what models would be brought in the near future.

"We will continue to strive to maintain penetration in the market by providing a refresher of several products," said Billy when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, January 17.

Selain akan menghadirkan beberapa model lagi untuk pasar Indonesia, Billy menambahkan pihaknya akan memperluas layanan purnajual untuk mempermudah konsumen dalam memiliki dan merawat kendaraannya.

"We will also offer sales programs that make it easier for consumers to own vehicles and strengthen our services in vehicle maintenance," added Billy.

It is true that the company has not disclosed what products will be brought to the Indonesian market, but it is no secret that Honda wants to expand the ranks of environmentally friendly vehicles in the country.

Moreover, in line with the program launched for its global market, which is committed to achieving carbon neutrality for all company products and activities by 2050, it also plans to sell battery-based electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel cells (FCVs), representing 100 percent of their new vehicle sales by 2040.
