60 Years Of Standing Lamborghini Prints Sales Record, SUV Manages To Be The Best Seller In The World
JAKARTA - In 2023, it marked the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Lamborghini's Automobile, but it turned out that the company also received a special gift that would be recorded in the company's history. For the first time, Lamborghini managed to sell 10,000 cars in one year.
In the company's release, January 16, the Italian company managed to deliver a total of 10,112 cars worldwide last year, or an increase of 10% from 9,233 produced in 2022, which is also an increase of 10% from 2021.
"It is our pride to have exceeded the delivery rate of 10,000 cars for the first time. We are not stopping at a single achievement and are ready to face new, more exciting challenges by 2024," said Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
SUV Larus became Lamborghini's best-selling model in 2023, accounting for nearly two-thirds of total production with global sales reaching 6,087 units, followed by an important record for Hurac totaling 3,962 cars delivered. In addition, 63 cars equipped with iconic V12 engines have been delivered, including the last 12 Aventadors and 51 Few-Offs.

Meanwhile, the V10 engine powered Huracan, which is the second best-selling model in 2023, will be replaced by a new mid-engineered supercar, which will switch from 10-cylinder engine to hybrid V8, so that the entire Lamborghini line will be fully electrified.

Lamborghini did not mention the number Revuelto they expect to ship in 2024, but Lamborghini Marketing Chief Federico Foschini hinted at high ambitions.
"Our goal for 2024 is to confirm our growth trend as well thanks to the contribution from Revuelto," he said.
Of the three main sales areas Lamborghini, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa showed their best performance in 2023, with 3,987 cars sold across the region. America followed with 3,465 units, and 2,660 cars to the Asia-Pacific region.
