Paul Mescal Admits He Will Be Depressed If The Film Gladiator 2 Popular
JAKARTA - An actor always has a desire to be known for his acting projects, but this is different from actor Paul Mescal. He hopes not to be more popular with the film Gladiator 2.
So far, Paul Mescal's name has become popular after starring in a number of series and films such as Normal People, Aftersun, and All of Us Stranger. His name is increasingly being taken into account after he was appointed as the main character in the film Gladiator 2 directed byko Scott.
Mescal will co-star with Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington. Not only that, he was also the main character to continue Russell Crowe who played Gladiator's first film and won Oscar for Best Actor.
"I don't know what the difference will be," Paul Mescal quoted The Times UK as saying when asked about its potential popularity is getting bigger and bigger with its new film.
"Maybe it's too naive? What's the difference is that people stop you more and more on the street? I'll be depressed if that happens and hope it's not true," he continued.

Paul Mescal hasn't imagined it yet, but he hopes that the influence of this film won't be so great for him. He explained that because he likes the world of acting, he hopes to be able to play various projects without having to wait for the transition process.
"If the film had an effect on my life in that position, I would be in a bad position," said Paul Mescal.
"I have to move on and do a game that no one sees," he said.
Loving the film world, Paul Mescal regrets that social media followers are often a calculation in acting.
"Why are we doing this? It's scary for me. Acting shouldn't reduce the number of Instagram followers," said Paul Mescal.
For several years, people talked about movies and series as content. Those are dirty words, this is not content, this is work," he said again.
Paul Mescal will play Lucius, the nephew of Commodus played by Joaquin Phoenix in his first film. The film Gladiator 2 is scheduled to air in November 2024.
