JCI Opens Sluggish, CUAN and SHID Shares are the Reddest

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the opening of trading Wednesday 17 January 2024 weakened 18.81 points or 0.26 percent to 7,223.97 at 09.07 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) this morning.

Meanwhile, the JCI opened at 7,243.19, while the highest level for the JCI today was 7,252.45 and the lowest was 7,220.19.

The total share trading volume on the IDX reached 1.07 billion, with a transaction value reaching IDR 712.58 billion. There were 155 shares rising, 182 shares falling, and 251 shares flat.

As for those who entered the Top Gainers ranks, namely PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) rose 80 or 1.72 percent to IDR 4,740, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) rose 325 or 1.19 percent to IDR 27,725, PT Trancoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) rose 100 or 1.31 percent to IDR 7,750.

Meanwhile, among the top losers, shares of PT Hotel Sahid Jaya International Tbk (SHID) fell 220 or 16.42 percent to IDR 1,120, shares of PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi (CUAN) fell 1,200 or 9.22 percent to IDR 10,900 , and PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk (BREN) shares fell 20 or 1.88 percent to IDR 1,045.
