Transjakarta Considers Heru Budi Stickers At Bus Stops Still Reasonable And According To The Rules

JAKARTA - The management of PT TransJakarta assesses that the sticker of Acting Governor of DKI Heru Budi Hartono installed at a number of bus stops is still reasonable and in accordance with applicable regulations.

"In our opinion, it is a natural thing as a regional leader to invite all people to maintain a safe and conducive situation to welcome the democratic party," said President Director of PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) Welfizon Yuza in a presentation on TransJakarta 2023 performance at DKI Jakarta City Hall, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 16.

Yuza did not deny that at a number of stops, Heru's sticker was attached with the aim of being a form of appeal to keep the election moment safe and peaceful.

Therefore, according to him, it does not matter if Heru stickers are installed in public transportation facilities while maintaining neutrality for employees and customers.

"Alhamdulillah, to this day we can maintain neutrality both on buses, bus stops and other work areas," he said.

Regarding the suggestion to replace Heru's stickers with images or illustrations like Monas, he felt it did not interfere with services during TransJakarta's operational fleet.

"So far, from the service side, nothing has been disturbed because of the placement and all kinds of things do not interfere with services or regulations," he said.

Thus, PT TransJakarta continues to intensify socialization in order to keep the election situation safe and peaceful.

The sticker reads "Smart choice, safe election, Strong Indonesia!" accompanied by a photo of Heru wearing a white uniform while bending his hands plastered at the door of the TransJakarta bus stop.
