Police Arrest 9 Thieves In Medan, All Of Them Are Positive For Using Drugs
The Belawan Resort Police (Polres) who are part of the North Sumatra Police arrested nine robbers who committed theft and violence in a number of Medan areas and their surroundings.
"The suspects arrested were a man with the initials R (18), JAP (18), AP (18), DGR (18), SF (19), RP (18), ES (20), MTD (20) and AR (18)," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police Kombes Hadi Wahyudi in Medan as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 12.
From the urine test of the nine suspects, it was concluded that they were positive for using drugs.
"The chronology of the robbery arrests carried out by the Belawan Harbor Police Jatanras Team began with reports of brawls in the Belawan area on Thursday (11/1) at 4:30 WIB," said Hadi.
The personnel from the Belawan Police Jatanras Team together with the security unit at KIM I Post clashed with the robbers who rode with sharp weapons.
"Officers arrested two perpetrators at the place, after which development was carried out to find other perpetrators," said Hadi.
Officers arrested five other perpetrators at the robbery headquarters on Jalan Pembagaran KIM III, Medan, two more perpetrators were detained at their workplace and residence.

persecution, robbery, and drug crimes.
"Personnel confiscated a number of evidences, including sharp weapons, arrows, marijuana-type narcotics and others," he said.
