Mahfud Promises With A Sakti KTP People Can Treat Without BPJS
PASURUAN - Candidate for vice president number 3 Mahfud MD said the public could seek treatment without a Health Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) card if registered in the Sakti ID card program, which he and presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo promoted.
"If you use the Sakti ID card, you'll just have to enter it. There are sick people, their names need health cost assistance. Later they will be sent to the center, the center is checked directly. Oh, yes, this is poor, (sick) cough. Later we will be responsible. The Sakti ID card is like that," said Mahfud explaining how the Sakti ID card program works on the sidelines of his campaign in Pasuruan Regency, East Java, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 12.
KTP Sakti is one of the programs that will be implemented by the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 3 Ganjar-Mahfud if elected to win the 2024 presidential election.
"Many sick people come to the hospital, ask for their BPJS cards, (are answered) whether they don't have them or don't pay, then they are told to go home? Sick people are told to go home," said Mahfud.

He also guarantees that with the Sakti ID card program, sick people's health service bills can be borne or billed by the state.
" Sick people are suddenly taken to the hospital, cannot be served. Well, we include, sick people must be served and any costs, the costs are borne by the state, billing the state," he said.
Mahfud explained that treatment with Sakti ID cards without using BPJS Kesehatan can be done because the Sakti KTP consists of 15 social assistance programs to the community.
"Education, health, social assistance, paying for electricity, paying for land, and so on are here, on the Sakti ID card. Well, that's it, yes," said Mahfud.
