10 Lung Specialists Prepared For Health Services For Residents Around Mount Marapi
AGAM - The Agam Regency Government, West Sumatra, has opened free lung examination health services for the people around Mount Marapi.The Head of Sungai Pua Sub-district, Ridwan, said that this lung examination was in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Lung Doctors (PDPI) of West Sumatra, the Department of Pulmonology, Respirational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Unand and RSUP M Djamil Padang."It is planned that the service will be carried out at the Sungai Pua Health Center on Sunday, January 14," he said in Lubuk Basung, Antara, Friday, January 12.He said there were 10 lung specialists from West Sumatra PDPI who would participate in the activity.PDPI, Unand and RSUP M Djamil Padang will bring complete equipment for the examination.The free lung examination is a precautionary measure and knows that people are affected by the eruption of health.This is because the residents of Sungai Pua have been found who have contracted acute respiratory tract infections (ARI)."This possibility is due to the volcanic ash from the eruption of Mount Marapi because it is almost every day of the eruption mountain," he said.He appealed to the public to take part in this examination. This service is free and open to the public.
"We also provide door prizes or gifts for people who carry out examinations," he said.
