Warmly Welcomed, President Jokowi Jogets With Indonesian Citizens And Ojol Drivers In Vietnam

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo danced with Indonesian citizens and motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) upon arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam, to make a working visit.

Based on a video that was watched on the Presidential Secretariat YouTube account, the President was greeted by Indonesian citizens and Vietnamese ojol drivers wearing green jackets that read Gojek.

Indonesian citizens and ojol drivers shouted chants while dancing with a hand pose as if riding a motorcycle.

The President's smile broke witness to the lively welcome, then he also swayed in the same style as the ojol.

President Jokowi's two hands seemed to be riding a motorcycle and turning the motorcycle gas around.

As previously reported, after traveling for approximately three hours from Manila, Philippines, President Joko Widodo arrived in Vietnam, Thursday.

The Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1 which brought the President and delegation landed at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, at around 14:45 local time.

From the airport, President Jokowi went straight to the hotel where he spent the night in Hanoi.

In Hanoi, President Jokowi is scheduled to meet a number of Vietnamese leaders, namely Vietnam's President V way, Thg, Vietnamese Prime Minister Phm Minh Chmengh, to the President of the Vietnam National Assembly Vng nh Hu.
