KPK Arranges Second Round Of Presidential Election Draft, Voting June 26, 2024
JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) has compiled a schedule for the 2024 presidential and vice presidential elections (Pilpres) for the second round.
"With regard to the schedule for holding the 2024 General Election, we have included it in KPU Regulation Number 3 of 2022. In accordance with the law's orders, we also have to prepare a schedule and stage plan for the 2024 presidential election in two rounds because the law orders are like that," said KPU Technical Division Coordinator Idham Holik after attending the Jakarta PKPU Three Draft Trial event. reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 11.
In the draft General Elections Commission (PKPU) regulations that have been made, said Idham, updating voter data for the second round of presidential elections from 17 May to 12 June 2024.
The KPU provides an opportunity for candidate pairs (paslon) to campaign on June 2-June 22 2024.
After carrying out the campaign, the candidate pair will enter a calm period which is planned to be set for June 23-June 25, 2024.
