Garuda's Eyes Introduces An Innovative Financing Scheme Book For Indonesian Development
JAKARTA - In order to achieve development goals in 2045, namely Advanced Indonesia, one of the challenges faced by the Government today in continuing to accelerate infrastructure development is the existence of alternative innovations in development financing outside the state budget.
"Infrastructure development in Indonesia needs to be carried out with good financing quality which will have an impact on a safer, healthier, and sustainable future state finances," said Head of the Garuda Eye (LPDP Scholarship Recipients Association), Leonardo Henry Gavaza, in Jakarta, quoted Thursday, January 11.
Leo added that currently infrastructure development cannot only rely on financing sources originating from the state budget, but it is necessary to have alternative sources of financing such as pension funds, philanthropic funds, as well as innovative instruments such as climate and sustainability funds.
To provide reference and understanding of how to overcome development financing challenges in Indonesia, Mata Garuda Chairman Leonardo Henry Gavaza and President Director of PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero), Muhammad Wahid Sutopo launched the book Series "Innovative Financing Scheme for Indonesian Development."
The book launch event was also attended by the Indonesian Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati and the LPDP President Director, Andin Hadiyanto.
"The book, which is a collaboration of ideas between Mata Garuda and IIGF, consists of three volumes, will explore in depth the innovative financing scheme for development, including pension funds, philanthropic funds, and other innovative schemes," Leo explained.
Leo added, this book can be the right reference to see various alternative financing for Indonesia which is trying to accelerate the development of quality infrastructure infrastructure throughout the country.
Mata Garuda is an alumni association organization and educational scholarship recipient of the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP). Garuda's eyes are currently playing an active role in contributing to Indonesia's progress. The book series 'Innovative Financing Scheme for Indonesian Development' is a tangible manifestation of this commitment.

This book is expected to encourage wider discussions and implementation in increasing alternative financing for innovative and diverse infrastructure development. This series of books is handled by the Director of the Center of Excellence Mata Garuda, Farina Rose; Head of MG Institute, Rendy Dwi Novalianto, as well as the MG Institute team Asep Cahyana, Riska Amalia, Bertha Lovita Dwi Intania Permana, Syifour Rahmah, Ridwan al-Makassary and Leliantika Deastri.
The collaboration with the IIGF Institute is handled by the Director of Partnership Mata Garuda, Aryo Adilantip and the Partnership team Christian Gerald Daniel.
