Cak Imin Asks President Jokowi Netril In The 2024 Presidential Election
JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Muhaimin Iskandar (CakImin) asked President Joko Widodo not to side with one of the pairs of candidates in the 2024 presidential election.
This was conveyed by Gus Imin in response to President Joko Widodo's statement asking for the debate format to be corrected on the grounds that it was too personal between pairs.
"Only the president should not take sides," said Muhaimin in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 10.
Gus Imin said that in the debate session of the three presidential candidates organized by the General Elections Commission (KPU), all elements of society have the right to provide an assessment and analyze the results of the debate, including the president.
However, according to him, as the highest official in the government, the president should not take sides.
"Everyone can criticize, everyone can analyze let alone a president must analyze," he said
