TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Meet Kiai And Nyai In Malang
The National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD met with KH. Marzuki Mustamar at the Sabilurrosyad Gasek Islamic Boarding School, and Nyai Hasyim Muzadi at the Al Hikam Islamic Boarding School, in Malang City, East Java.
TPN's Deputy for Territorial Kinetics Ganjar-Mahfud, Luki Hermawan said that during a meeting with KH. Marzuki Mustamar, he received a message to always maintain good relations between friends.
"He advised friends to be higher than political choices. Because the presidential election is only temporary at the ballot booth. Do not let the one-minute voting process affect Indonesian human relations," Luki said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 10.
During the meeting, Luki and KH. Marzuki recalled each other's stories when Luki served as the East Java Police Chief in the 2018-2020 period. At that time, Luki and KH. Marzuki often met to encourage them to secure East Java.
In addition, he continued, KH Marzuki also talked about the political situation ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres), including related to the dismissal of KH Marzuki as Chairman of the East Java Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management (PWNU).
"I was invited and invited to speak at his residence. He is my friend for a long time. Earlier we talked about many things, including the issue of the presidential election. He gave a lot of messages, prayers, and trusts for this presidential election," he added.

Meanwhile, KH Marzuki said the arrival of the Luki Islamic boarding school was a friendship, regardless of political support. He likens it, if one day he dies he will definitely need Luki's prayer, and vice versa.
"I will not mess around, people choose oboks. The important thing is wathoniyah spirit. For religious leaders, preaching this religion in a soft way, which is wise and can maintain unity," he said.
At the end of the meeting, KH Marzuki gave his best prayer for Mahfud Md who was contesting the presidential election. He hopes that all of Luki and Mahfud's wishes will be granted by Allah and become a trustworthy leader.
Meanwhile at the Al Hikam Islamic Boarding School, Luki met Nyai Hasyim and her sons, and the meeting was closed. During the meeting, Luki felt like he was back when he was still active as a police officer in Malang.
"Kii Marzuki said that friends must be maintained. Whatever the political choice, they must respect each other. If at Nyai Hasyim, I feel a flashback in the past. I have considered her my own mother. Her prayers have been sincere for me for a long time," said Luki.
