Alan Wake's New Character Will Come To Dead By Daylight Game
JAKARTA - The Developer of Behavior Interactive is working with Remedy Entertainment to bring the new guest character, Alan Wake, to the title of the asymmetric multiplayer game Dead by Daylight.
"Dead by Daylight is delighted to welcome Alan Wake, the best-selling authors like The Fall of Alex Casey and The Sudden Stop, into The Fog," the developer wrote in his official announcement.
After being teased via Twitter some time ago, Dead by Daylight finally confirmed the presence of Alan Wake as a new survival character in the future, through a trailer.
Of course, just like in the original series, the flashlight will be used on Dead by Daylight as a weapon to make the killer character 'blind' and slow down if used with the right perk.
We are very happy to be able to bring Alan Wake, our writer who was tortured, into the famous Dead by Daylight. We feel the knowledge of our two horror experiences to match in the Dark Place and can't wait to feel the horrors waiting for him in the Mist," said Sam Lake, Creative Director of Remedy Entertainment.
In addition, Lake also said that Alan Wake's resemblance was based on the physical actor of the character, Ilkka Villi, and, of course, comes with Alan Wake's iconic voice, which Matthew Porretta turned on in the game.

Alan Wake will join the cast of Dead by Daylight's Survivors on January 30, and meanwhile, the character can currently be played in limited-time public trials made on Steam now.
Along with Alan Wake's arrival, Dead by Daylight also got a special Light's Out time changer. The changer basically makes the game darker, removing some of the tools they usually use in regular matches.
Dead by Daylight is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
