Debt Collector Clashes With Residents Of Babakan Tangsel Due To Motorcycles

TANGERANG - Clashes occurred between the debt collector group and residents of Ruko Daxen, Jalan Dasana Indah, Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency, Tuesday afternoon, January 9.

One of the residents around the scene explained that the clash started with a motorcycle belonging to the debt collector group blocking the vehicle of a Babakan resident in the Curug area, Tangerang Regency.

The commotion ensued. Babakan residents called their friends to help attack the debt collector group.

"The motorbike was blocking, and Babakan's people continued to be nicknamed. In the end, it was chaotic, then Babakan's people called his friends and debt collectors too," said Lasono when met by VOI, Wednesday, January 10.

Arriving at the location, Babakan residents were assisted by traders on Jalan Dasana Indah. This is because traders at the location are also not happy with the existence of debt collectors. Because it is considered disturbing to local residents.

"So here there is a shophouse for the debt collector group. Now, the Babakan group is assisted by us (traders). Because we are upset that they often get drunk and scream after getting paid up," he said

"Finally they gathered, the debt collector group with the residents. But they don't know if they beat them or not. I was in the shop," he continued.

One of the Bojong Nangka Village (Bonang) officers, Abdullah, said that the action occurred until Wednesday, January 10, in the early hours of the morning.

Rusuhnya jam 1 an. Tapi tidak berjuang hit ya. Kumpul saja. Kan ada Kapolres, dateng ditanya'mu apa? Saya maunya (kelompok timur itu) keluar dari sini. Karena kadang-kadang kan, katanya memilifikan kelompok Babakan.

Long story short, the action can be dispersed and disbanded. Then the group from the debt collector has been secured to the South Tangerang Police.

In addition, motorbikes belonging to debt collectors and the results of customer withdrawals were also secured. According to him, the number of motorbikes that were secured reached dozens of units.

"They (the debt collector group was secured. Their motorbikes were also transported up to 4 trucks," he said

The VOI team tried to contact the Kelapa Dua Police Chief and the Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police. However, until the news was broadcast, the person concerned did not respond.
