JAKARTA Dozens of brawlers in Central Jakarta handed over hundreds of sharp weapons to the police on Tuesday, January 9, evening. The handover of sharp weapons was a form of public awareness of losses due to brawls.

Hundreds of sharp weapons were collected from the community involved in the brawl at 8 Polsek in Central Jakarta.

"The most hours are handed over from the Menteng area," said one of the Central Jakarta Metro Police officers to VOI in Kramat Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, January 9, evening.

Hundreds of sharp weapons were secured directly from the public, which were collected from each RW.

The act of collecting sharp weapons began with a brawl on Jalan Setia Kawan Roxy, Gambir District, Central Jakarta. The brawl involved Tanjung Duren residents with residents of Kali Anyar on Monday, January 8.

The two groups are residents outside the Gambir area. The brawl was successfully dispersed by the police. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of the brawl.
