Welcomed By The Satire Banner In Bali, Gibran: It's OK, It's Called Criticism
DENPASAR - Candidate for vice president (cawapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka, opened his voice about the banners that insinuated him during a visit to campaign activities on the island of Bali.
Gibran admitted that he was not aware of any banners that satirized him.
"I don't know," said Gibran, after attending the event, "Gibran heard," in Kuta, Bali, Tuesday, January 9.
When explained by reporters about the banner containing satire sentences, Gibran emphasized that he did not question it.
"It's okay. It's called a criticism of the evaluation from residents, it's a normal thing. Thank you for the input," he said.

The visit of the vice presidential candidate (cawapres) Gibran Rakabuming Raka to Bali was greeted by banners at a number of points in Denpasar City which contained satire sentences to President Jokowi's son.
Gibran continued his campaign activities by visiting Buleleng and Denpasar City today. The satire banner was installed at the intersection of Jalan Sudirman, Denpasar as well as Bypass Ngurah Rai, Badung.
"Welcome to the Haram Reform Children," and "Rahajeng Rauh!!! Crown Prince of the #Klee Palace Cheating Khe Nok", "Happy Holiday of Uncle MK #Orba is back," reads a banner insinuating Ginran.
The chairman of the Bali PSI DPW as well as an adviser to the Prabowo-Gibran Bali TKD, I Nengah Yasa Adi Susanto, said that his party did not care about the appearance of a satire banner.
"We just focus on work so that our political opponents are sarcastic in ways that are not good enough and unethical but we are still working to win Prabowo-Gibran," said Adi, Tuesday, January 9.
"I am sure, because they are only afraid of our political opponents, who incidentally are the ruling parties in Bali, are afraid of the arrival of Mas Gibran, we don't need to respond anymore, meaning let the people judge, we remain enthusiastic," he said.
Meanwhile, Gibran in the campaign in Bali advised all slander and hoaxes not to be responded to. Gibran asked volunteers to focus on working on socializing programs and ensuring victory on the Island of the Gods.
"I entrust it to the victory in Bali. If there is a cynicism, if there is slander, if there are bad news, there is no need to respond. If there is slander, there is no need to reply to slander, if there is a cynicism, there is no need to reply," he said.
"We focus on winning alone, there is no need to vilify the program from other candidate pairs. We focus on winning for the Prabowo-Gibran pair. I leave it for victory in Bali," he said.
