The 29-year-old Man In Mataram Was Arrested By BNNP Officers After Receiving A Package Containing 1.1 Kg Cannabis From Medan
MATARAM - The National Narcotics Agency of West Nusa Tenggara Province revealed a case of ordering packages containing marijuana from Medan, North Sumatra.Head of the BNNP NTB Eradication and Intelligence Division Sisman Adi Pranoto said this case was successfully revealed thanks to a control delivery strategy or delivery monitoring."From the strategy we carried out, a man with the initials IK was arrested shortly after picking up a package at the expedition office in the Labuapi area, West Lombok," said Sisman in Mataram, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, January 9.He said his party arrested the 29-year-old man after finding 1.1 kilograms of marijuana in a package."From the interrogation on the spot, the perpetrator admitted that the 1.1 kilogram cannabis package belonged to him which was ordered from Medan," he said.During the arrest, a search was carried out at IK's house in the Cakranegara area, Mataram City."We also secured two bottles of marijuana weighing 5 grams from his house. So, the total evidence of marijuana that we confiscated from the arrest of IK was 1,105 grams," he said.Dari penangkapan IK dengan barang bukti ganja pada akhir tahun 2023, Sisman menegaskan bahwa pihaknya telah menetapkan IK sebagai tersangka dengan menerapkan dugaan Pasal 111 ayat (2) dan/atau Pasal 114 ayat (2) Undang-Undang RI Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika.
"We have detained the person concerned (IK) and the legal process is currently underway at the investigation stage," he said.
