DKI DPRD Inaugurates 6 PAW Members Of PSI, PKS, And Gerindra Factions
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta DPRD inaugurated six new members in the interim replacement (PAW) of DKI Jakarta DPRD members for the remaining 2019-2024 term. The six members of the previous DPRD have left their respective political parties because they have moved to other parties.
The six members of the DKI DPRD as a result of PAW from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), namely Elva Farhi Qolbina, replaced Anggara Wicitra Sastroamidjojo, Cornelis Hotman replacing Viani Limardi, and Simon Lamakadu replacing Idris Ahmad.
Furthermore, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), namely Ahmad Badminton, replaced Yusriah Dzinnun and Ali Fikri Noor to replace Muhayar. As well as from the Greater Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) faction, namely Munir Arsyad replacing Adi Kurnia Setiadi.
The excerpt of the oath and promise was led by Deputy Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Rany Mauliani and witnessed by Deputy Chairman of the DPRD Khoirudin, members of the DPRD, and constituents.
Rany explained that the oath-taking and promises meeting was carried out based on the results of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Deliberative Body (Bamus) meeting on January 2 and 5, 2024.
Meanwhile, the election of PAW members in accordance with Law Number 9 of 2015 and Article 109 paragraph 1 of Government Regulation Number 12 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Procedures for the Provincial, Regency and City DPRD states that DPRD members who stop between times as referred to in Article 99 paragraph 1 are replaced by candidates for DPRD members who get the most votes next in the list of votes from the same Political Party in the same Election Area.
"Furthermore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 114 paragraph 1 of Government Regulation Number 12 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for the Preparation of Procedures for the Provincial, Regency and City DPRDs that members of the DPRD in Lieu of Inter-Time before holding their positions first take the oath and promise guided by the DPRD leadership in a plenary meeting," said Rany at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Monday, January 8.

During the procession, Rany and religious leaders guided the six candidates for PAW members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD to take an oath of promise that contained responsibility for the Nation and the State.
"I need to remind that the oath of promise to be made contains responsibility for the nation and state, responsibility to maintain and save Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and responsibility for the establishment of democracy," said Rany.
The six PAW members who wore suits and encim clothes loudly took their promises guided by their respective religious leaders.
"I promise to fulfill my obligations as a member of the DKI Jakarta Provincial DPRD as well as possible and fairly in accordance with the provisions of the regulations with the guidelines of Pancasila and the 1945 Law," said all members of the DPRD PAW.
"That in carrying out my obligations, I will work seriously for the sake of upholding democracy and prioritizing the interests of the nation and state rather than personal, person, or group interests. I will fight for the aspirations of the people that I represent to realize the interests of the nation and state of the Republic of Indonesia," continued all members of the PAW DPRD.
After taking the oath and promise, Elva Farhi Qolbina, Cornelis Hotman, Simon Lamakadu, Ahmad airing, Ali Fikri Noor, and Munir Arsyad, received the badge (pin) as a valid sign of being a member of the DKI Jakarta DPRD for the remainder of their 2019-2024 term. They then received congratulations from other DPRD members.
