Debat Capres: Police Ban Masses Supporting Paslon Bring Loudspeakers To Istora Senayan
JAKARTA - The police prohibit the masses from the candidate pairs (paslon) carrying command cars and loudspeakers to maintain the solemnity of the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Election debate at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday night.
"We remind all candidate pairs who come to the debate location not to wear loudspeakers so that the event remains solemn," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Police Susatyo Purnomo Condro Metro in Jakarta, as quoted by Antara.
Susatyo said, according to the provisions of the KPU, those who could enter the (dispute room) were limited so that those outside had prepared land in front of Istora Senayan.
"We continue to coordinate with the KPU's Pamdal (Interior Security) to remind that this activity is at the heart of the end of the debate," he said.
He explained that access in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area is still open to the public. People can still enter for activities.
"We focus on Istora Senayan, we can still enter, at GBK this is not just a debate event, there are other events as well. So residents who want to exercise can still do it," said Susatyo.
Until now, his party has not implemented traffic engineering in the GBK Senayan area, Central Jakarta.
