Police: Grenade Found In Central Lombok Still Active
CENTRAL LOMBOK - Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, stated that the anti-Hand grenades found by residents in Kawo Village, Pujut District are still active.
"From the results of the identification of the Explosives Disposal Team, it was stated that the grenade was still in an active condition, so a deposit will be carried out at the Pujut Police," said Central Lombok Police Chief, AKBP Iwan Hidayat in Praya, Sunday.
The discovery of the pineapple grenade occurred on Saturday (6/1) evening by a resident named Hajar who was returning home fishing with one of his colleagues and found an object suspected of being a pineapple grenade in a former building in the middle of a rice field.

"The resident took the initiative to bring the explosives using a bucket and was delivered to the house of a member of the National Police who is a neighbor in the local village," he said.
Based on this information, the NTB Brimobda Explosives Disposal Team identified the crime scene (TKP) and secured or evacuated the grenade-type explosive weapon to be secured at the Pujut Police.
"Alhamdulillah, the pineapple grenade has been evacuated and we have temporarily secured the grenade in the Pujut Police," he said.
