Ganjar Invites The Community To Maintain Cohesiveness In 2024

Presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo invites the Indonesian people to maintain cohesiveness in the new year 2024.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we will face an increasingly difficult world situation, so what is needed first as an Indonesian citizen is compact," said Ganjar while attending the event on New Year's Eve 2024 in Bandungan District, Semarang Regency, Central Java, Sunday, December 31 evening.

Ganjar assessed that cohesiveness must be maintained because there is a value of Indonesian unity, so that if it is compact, Indonesia can withstand any attack.

Meanwhile, the former Governor of Central Java for two periods said that actually the moment of the turn of the year was normal.

"The real important thing is what we will do tomorrow," said the pair of vice presidential candidates Mahfud Md, as reported by Antara.

Therefore, Ganjar invites the public to become a better person from the day of change or start in early 2024.

"We never know if there is no calendar, maybe it doesn't change for years, the next day it changes, the next day it changes and continues. But we will be the people who lose if tomorrow is not better than today," he said.

He added, "then let's be together, ladies and gentlemen, make a better tomorrow."

Previously, the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday, November 13, 2023, determined three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to participate in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres).

Based on the results of the draw and determination of the number of participants in the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar received serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. serial number 3.

The KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule will be on February 14, 2024.
