Make Sure The Member Allowance Funds Are Not Cut By The Police Chief, Kapolda Asks Propam To Check All Polres In NTT
NTT Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga reminded all police chiefs in this area not to cut security fund allowances belonging to police officers that must be received in the 2023 Turangga Steam Operation (OMB)."We have asked the Head of Propam Polda NTT to check all Polres throughout NTT whether the same thing happened or not," said DTM Silitonga in a press statement at the end of 2023 in Kupang, Antara, Sunday, December 31.The Kapolda said this was related to the case of cutting the security operation allowance for the 2024 General Election which caused the Kupang City Police Chief Kombes Police Rishian Krisna to be transferred to the Yanma Police Headquarters Intermediate Officer (Pamen) after undergoing an examination by internal security (Paminal) at the National Police Headquarters in the case of allegedly cutting election security allowances for members of the Kupang City Police.The former West Papua Police Chief said that the examination of all Polres in the island-based province was carried out to check whether or not there were cases like what happened at the Kupang City Police also occurred at other Polres in NTT.Kapolda Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga who was accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the NTT Police Brigadier General Pol Awi Setiyono said he would not play games and give firm action against the Police Chiefs in NTT who are known to have cut operational allowance funds which are the rights of members in the 2024 election security operation."If it is known that there is another Police Chief in NTT who does the same thing, he will definitely be removed from his position," said Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga.For the two-star general, member rights must be granted and must not be deducted so that if it is known that there is still a police chief in NTT who cuts operational funds for Steamous Operation Brata to secure the 2024 election, it will certainly be immediately removed."The members' rights must be given because we are held accountable by the National Police Chief," said Inspector General of Police Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga.
To note, the Head of the Kupang Police, East Nusa Tenggara Police, Kombes Police Rishian Krisna, was transferred after undergoing an examination by the internal security (paminal) of the National Police Headquarters in the case of allegedly cutting the allowance for election security funds for members of the Kupang City Police.
