Joining The Training Camp In Turkey, Rafael Struick And Ivar Jenner Ready To Defend The National Team In The 2023 Asian Cup
JAKARTA - Two players who have completed their naturalization process, Rafael Struick and Ivar Jenner have now joined national team players who have undergone training camp (TC) in Antalya, Turkey.
The news was shared by PSSI through their official website, quoted on Sunday, December 31, that Rafael and Ifar had arrived at the training ground since Thursday evening local time. After arriving, the two immediately underwent training to restore fitness at the gym the next day.
Being able to immediately join Suad Garuda in a training camp session, Struick was happy and also excited to train together.
"I'm happy to be here after yesterday's trip. This is my first gym exercise. I'm so excited," said Rafael Struick.
On the same occasion, Struick also revealed the situation was fit. From there, he also admitted that he was very ready to help the team to perform optimally in the 2023 Asian Cup later.
"I'm ready to play, I'm really excited to play in the national team. I'm ready for the Asian Cup. For that, I'm preparing myself in these few weeks to be able to give the team the best so that they become a strong team," said Rafael Struick.
Rafael Struick also mentioned the national team's opportunity to appear in the 2023 Asian Cup, he said he was optimistic that the Garuda Squad had a great opportunity, especially if all players could work hard.
Our opponent is strong, but we are also a strong and good team, so I think we have a chance. If we work hard, we will take that opportunity. Hopefully we can qualify until the knockout round first," he added.

On the same occasion, Ivar Jenner also admitted that he was very excited to join the training camp and prepared to defend the Indonesian national team. Especially before this he had just recovered from injury, after his condition recovered, Jenner was sure he could play well in order to make his debut with Shin Tae-yong's team.
Previously I was injured for a long time, two to four months. I am very happy to be playing again for Indonesia. Today I practice sessions at the gym, worry, upper body, circuits and everything," said Ivar explained.
"My condition is getting better. But I haven't played again during my injury, so now I can play, the first match will be with the national team, so I'm very happy," he said.
