Ganjar-Mahfud Spend New Year's Eve In Semarang

JAKARTA - Candidate for president and vice presidential candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD will celebrate New Year's Eve 2024 in Semarang, Central Java.

"Where am I in Semarang. Where is Mr. Mahfud, sir?" Ganjar asked the vice presidential candidate Mahfud Md after attending the Year-End Consolidation of the National Winning Team (TPN) and Ganjar-Mahfud Volunteers Saturday, December 30.

"In Semarang too," said the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) in response to Ganjar's question.

The former governor of Central Java for two periods said that he did not rule out meeting Mahfud at the moment of New Year's celebrations.

"Oh, we'll meet later. Oh, I want to go out together too, I can also meet him (Mahfud)," said Ganjar.

However, Ganjar stated that he would still campaign because the campaign period did not recognize the New Year's moment.

"Anyway, we (Ganjar-Mahfud) have no stories of holidays for the next 45 days. We will walk every day by meeting the community," he said.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday, November 13, 2023, determined three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates to participate in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections (Pilpres).
