Officially Inaugurated, Acting Regent Of Bogor Promises To Complete Polemic Of Jalan Tambang Parung Panjang
BOGOR - Acting (Pj) Bogor Regent Asmawa Tosepu is ready to resolve the polemic of trucks or mining-specific transportation in the Parungpanjang area, Bogor Regency, West Java. "The Governor's directive is also how to address the problems currently in Parung Panjang, the road which is then related to the transportation of the excavation material C," he said after being inaugurated as the Regent of Bogor by the Acting Governor of West Java in Gedung Sate, Bandung City, quoted by ANTARA Saturday, December 30. Asmawa who is also the Head of the General Bureau of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) admitted that he was ready to coordinate with the central government and provincial governments to handle mining trucks operating outside the operating hours rules. Then, he will also coordinate with the Government of Banten Province, because the mining trucks that caused many traffic accidents and damaged roads passed in Bogor Regency and Tangerang Regency. "Including (coordinates) with the neighboring districts involved. Because this is a cross-provincial nature, so it becomes the authority of the central government," said Asmawa. Assepu was appointed as Acting Regent of Bogor by West Java Governor Bey Venyi Machmudin in Gedung Building, Bandung, Saturday. Asmawa replaces Iwan Setiawan whose term of office expires on December 30, 2023. Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic Unit of Bogor Police Traffic Unit Ipda Angga Nugraha revealed that during a year there were as many as 12 people died due to involvement with trucks or special mining transportation in the Parungpanjang area, Bogor Regency, West Java. "The total is 17 cases with victims of 12 people who died, four people were lightly injured and four people were seriously injured," said Angga.
