TPN Ganjar Proposes Social Assistance Postponed During Elections, AMIN National Team: Bansos State Obligations, Not Paslon

JAKARTA - National Team (Timnas) Captain Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN), Muhammad Syaugi Alaydrus, reminded that the distribution of social assistance (bansos) is the state's obligation and is not a candidate pair for the 2024 presidential election.

Syaugi said this was in response to the proposal from the Ganjar-Mahfud National Winning Team (TPN) which asked for the distribution of social assistance to be postponed until the 2024 General Election ended in order to avoid the practice of politicizing aid for underprivileged residents.

"(Bansos) State obligations, not from candidate pairs," said Syaugi in Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, December 30.

According to Syaugi, candidate pair number 1 Anies-Muhaimin, who was promoted by the Change Coalition, had no connection at all with the implementation of social assistance.

"It has been conveyed from Pak Anies and Pak Muhaimin, the social assistance is indeed the state's obligation," said Syaugi.

The proposal to postpone the provision of social assistance during the 2024 election came from the Deputy for Law of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud, Todung Mulya Lubis.

On Friday (29/12), Todung said the distribution of social assistance carried out by the Government was feared that it could benefit certain candidate pairs.
