"We are preparing engineering in the form of two alternative routes to Cianjur and Bandung," said Police Spokesperson Kombes A. Maladi in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 30.
Maladi said the two routes prepared for the traveler to cross were the Cibubur-Cianjur route through Jonggol and the Ciawi-Cianjur route via Sukabumi.
For the first route, travelers will be directed to cross the Cibubur, Cileungsi, Jonggol, Cariu, Cikalong, then Cianjur areas; while on the second route, travelers will cross the Ciawi, Cicurug, Cibadak, Sukabumi City, and Cianjur routes.
"The two alternative routes are ready when CFN is implemented later," he added.

The CFN policy was implemented in addition to unraveling the density of traffic, as well as an anticipation of the occurrence of COVID-19 transmission, where cases have increased again.
"The implementation of CFN in Puncak is to unravel vehicles and anticipate the spread of COVID-19 on New Year's Eve on the Puncak route," he added.
In addition to the night policy of being free from motorized vehicles, the police will also apply the odd-even rule on the Puncak route from December 29, 2023 to January 1, 2024.
For travelers who are found to have violated the odd-even rule, the officers will immediately turn them back.
"We urge those who will go home to pay attention to these rules, ensure that they are in good health while driving, and always check the vehicles to be used," said Maladi.
