"We ensure that teaching and learning activities in the theory of students / students of SMKN 3 Bengkulu were not hampered after a severe fire broke out on Thursday (28 December)," said Head of the Bengkulu Province Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) Saidirman in Bengkulu, Friday, December 29, which was confiscated by Antara. According to him, there is still time to prepare for learning activities before entering the second semester of school year starting in January 2024. "They are also entering on January 8, they also have a classroom far in different locations, later the activities of learning theory will not become an obstacle and teaching and learning will be diverted there first. However, the problem is the room of their laboratory practice," Saidirman said. He said that the restructuring of SMKN 3 Bengkulu will later be discussed together by the Governor of Bengkulu Rohidin Mersyah. According to the Principal of SMKN 3 Bengkulu, Saidirman said, there are 17 classrooms that have been burned and until now there are still calculations of losses by consultants. "There is a possibility of using a bailout fund in the Regional Government (BTT), if this has met the requirements of BTT funds. Later there will also be a kind of special policy related to the acceleration of the construction of SMKN 3 Bengkulu," said Saidirman.
