Rayen Pono Reports Fraudsters Who Cause Losses Of Up To Rp. 19 Million To The Police
JAKARTA - Singer Rayen Pono reported a fraudster who claimed to be a person from the Ministry of PUPR to Polda Metro Jaya. He was accompanied by his two attorneys.
"Today I went to the Regional Police to make a report regarding the fraud that yesterday I and the manager made a report, accompanied by a lawyer from RBT Lawfirm," said Rayen Pono at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday, December 29.
On this occasion, Rayen said that this incident began when he was offered a job to sing which according to the fraudster at one of the Ministry of PUPR events on December 27.
"Initially this was actually a job offer, for me a December 27 gig at the PUPR ministry, a welcome event if I'm not mistaken, there is one deputy. Now, this fraudster admits from the in house of the PUPR ministry,warin job," said Rayen.
After that, Rayen said that there had been a transfer of money transfers after an agreement was made with the fraudster. He continued that the fraudster asked to be sent along with the catering and MC.
"Finally contact my manager, it has been stepped on and so on, finally there is a transfer process. This fraudster also asks for help, is illustrated, catering and MC, so that one door, one transfer account. Ask for help to my manager," he continued.
Then the moment of fraud occurred when this person who claimed to be from the PUPR asked to return the money that had been transferred on the grounds of excess money.
As a result, without checking further, manager Rayen Pono immediately transferred Rp 19 million with evidence of fake transfers from fraudsters.

"At that time, my manager was outside the office, coincidentally, our office finance person was on leave abroad. So when the proof of fake transfer was sent, my manager had not had time to cross-check," explained Rayen.
"After being transferred, I began to suspect, it turned out that the order was fictitious. So without a cross-check, the manager sent the excess, which was around Rp. 19.7 million, the mode was there, the loss was," said Rayen Pono's attorney, Patricho.
