Security Ahead Of The 2024 General Election, Karawang Immigration Checks Documents For 73 Foreign Workers
The Karawang Regency Immigration Office examined 73 foreign workers (TKA) from a number of companies as an effort to monitor immigration in security activities ahead of the 2024 General Election.
Head of the Class I Immigration Office of Non TPI Karawang, Petrus Teguh Aprianto conveyed that the TKA document examination activities were also in the context of securing the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays.
"This activity was held simultaneously for the last two days in all Immigration Offices throughout Indonesia, with the aim of obtaining information in the form of immigration permit status from each foreign worker," he said in Karawang, Friday.
Especially in Karawang, 73 foreign workers were examined. They are foreign workers from a number of companies in the Karawang and Purwakarta areas.
According to him, according to the results of the examination that had been carried out, no foreign workers were found to have committed immigration violations.
As many as 73 foreign workers were examined, they all had complete immigration documents and worked according to their permits.
"So in addition to the examination, we also educate each company to carry out its obligations to report activities and the existence of foreign workers every month," said Petrus.
