VinFast VF3, Cheap Mini Electric Car From Vietnam Confirmed Debut At CES 2024
JAKARTA - In early December, an automotive manufacturer from Vietnam, VinFast, was reported to have registered one of its flagship electric vehicle products with the Indonesian Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) and the biggest possibility of the car being VinFast VF3.
Quite a few are curious about the electric car which is said to have an attractive design like Suzuki Jimny.
The latest news is that VinFast will take part in the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) exhibition in Las Vegas, USA on January 9-12.
Reporting from CarBuzz, Wednesday, December 27, the manufacturer, which was founded in 2017, will bring some of its vehicles to this event, one of which is VF3 which is positioned as an affordable electric car.
VF3 has a stiffer and stronger design so that the model has the potential to have the ability to walk in various terrains.
This car has an overall length of approximately 3,114 mm and has a design of 2 doors, a rear trunk, and enough interior space to accommodate up to five people. The body is compact but tall and sturdy, providing a large ground clearance and is equipped with a 16-inch wheel.
Thus, it is possible that VinFast VF3 will be priced at a sale value of less than US$20,000 (equivalent to Rp308.9 million). If subject to a credit tax that applies in the US, it is possible that the price could be cheaper up to 12,500 US dollars (around Rp193.1 million).
This car will be equipped with electric motors and batteries that are claimed to have impressive travel distances, making it suitable for daily mobility needs. This Vietnamese company has opened a VF3 booking period last September and started its delivery period in the third quarter of next year.
