Damon Koeswoyo And Sarah Hadju's Blue Blood Presents 90s Classic Pop Rock

JAKARTA - Damon Koeswoyo and Sarah Hadju are back in collaboration with a new music project called Blue Blood, acronym Damon Sarah Makes New.

This duo music project began in their first collaboration in 2013. However, it was delayed until it was finally real ten years later.

Now Damon and Sarah have finished a new album containing nine songs that are mostly original by both of them. Meanwhile, another song is a rearrangement version by the late Tonny Koeswoyo ( Damon's father) and the band Kidnap.

Damon Koeswoyo said that one thing that attracted the Blue Blood album was the nuances of the 1990s with the classic pop-rock genre.

"It can be said that the Blue Blood album will spoil the ears, especially pop rock music lovers, as well as the hope that Gen Z can also accept Blue Blood," Damon Koeswoyo said in his statement, Thursday, December 28.

The song titled Useless is Damon and Sarah's mainstay on this new album. The video clip was released along with the release of the album on digital platform today.

Meanwhile, Sarah said the making of this album gave her many new lessons and experiences in the music world. Sarah proved that she and Damon were able to write original Blue Blood songs.

"This is the strength of collaboration and consistency of our love for the music world that we have succeeded in realizing in a long time journey," said Sarah Hadju.

Through works in Blue Blood, Damon and Sarah hope to contribute to enriching the national music industry.

Blue Blood also involves several musicians to support the creation process, including Rita Effendy, Ronni Waluya, Shayan Malik, Andaka Wahyu Adi/Koko Kidnap Katrina, Indra Q, and Toru Sudarsono.
