Anies-Cak Imin Spokesperson Indra Charismiadji Arrested By Prosecutor's Office, AMIN National Team Prepares Legal Aid
The East Jakarta District Attorney has arrested the spokesman for the Anies-Muhaimin (Amin National Team) National Team, Indra Charismiadji, regarding the alleged tax evasion case.
Indra, who is also a politician from the NasDem Party, was immediately detained by the prosecutor when he was arrested. This was confirmed by the spokesman for the AMIN National Team, Iwan Tarigan.
"I got the information, he said it was related to tax evasion. But we don't know yet because we don't want to go longer in a direction that is not yet clear," Iwan told reporters, Wednesday, December 27.
Iwan emphasized that his party would immediately prepare legal assistance to Indra in dealing with cases that dragged him.
"We will make sure our legal team has prepared to go there, so that legal assistance will be carried out later," said Iwan.
In 2020, Indra was reported to the police for a fraud case in 2020. In this case, Indra is said to have been named a suspect by the West Jakarta Police.

Responding to this, Iwan emphasized that there was a presumption of innocence in the case allegedly involving Indra. Moreover, until now Indra has not been named a convict.
In fact, the NasDem Party also nominated Indra as a candidate for the legislative member of the DPR RI in the Central Java 1 voter area, despite the cases that befell him.
"So, if a person has not been made a convict, there is no legal status yet. He is still free to be anything. So a legislative candidate can do it, right? Not only as a spokesman. Because if you become a legislative candidate, you must be criminal free," he explained.
