Prabowo Akui Terinspirasi Jokowi Ajak Oposisi Pilpres 2019 Merap Ke Pemerintahan
BANDUNG - Presidential candidate (candidate) number 2, Prabowo Subianto assessed that the existence and role of the opposition was important to maintain balance.
According to him, elements of society that support and criticize government policies have the same goal of building the nation.
"Those who want to stay in position, we need it too, there is no problem, but the opposition that loves the country, together to correct, love the nation, the Indonesian people. This is our goal and this is our focus," Prabowo said during a speech at the declaration of the Indonesian Love Muslim Movement (Gempita) in support of Prabowo-Gibran in Bandung, West Java, Wednesday, December 27, which was confiscated by Antara.
Prabowo said he had been in opposition several times. However, he decided to turn his back to the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin Government even though he lost the 2019 presidential election.
"Two times my election competed against Pak Jokowi. Twice lost, but lastly, once he won, what was his action? He invited me to unite, he made his rival, his opponent, united to unite to serve and serve the people of Indonesia," said Prabowo.
Such a attitude, Prabowo said, inspired him. He was also determined that if he was later elected he would invite his opponents to unite to serve the Indonesian people together.
