Transjakarta Operates Duren Tiga Route Service 'Blok M Via Bangka Raya Starting Tomorrow
JAKARTA - PT Transjakarta has added operations to the new route, namely Duren Tiga-Blok M via Bangka Raya with bus code 6W. This new bus service route is a non-bus rapid transit (non-BRT) which will be effectively operational on Thursday, December 28.
In the operation of this new route, Transjakarta provides as many as 6 single bus units that can be enjoyed by the public every day starting at 05.00 a.m. 21.30 p.m. local time with a total of 50 stop points.
Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transjakarta Wibowo said that the opening of this new route is a follow-up to community partnerships so that public transportation is available in the Mampang area, South Jakarta and its surroundings.
"It is hoped that this will be an additional transit option for customers who will continue their journey to Ragunan by transiting at the Immigration Bus Stop," Wibowo said in his statement, Wednesday, December 27.
The presence of this new route, according to Wibowo Wibowo, also adds to the area of service facilities in the Transjakarta ecosystem.
"The operation of the Duren Tiga 'Blok M route via Bangka Raya (6M) has increased the reach of Transjakarta services to 88.62 percent from the previous 88.47 percent," he said.

On the other hand, Transjakarta also made modifications to the integration service for the Blok M'University Indonesia (UI) route to Block M'Cipedak as of Thursday, December 22. With this change, the stopping point became 69.
"This is done to maximize services and accelerate bus travel time with 10 units of medium buses serving the community starting at 05.00 22.00 WIB," explained Wibowo.
To enjoy these two services, customers are still required to tap in and tap out using an electronic money card (KUE) at a rate of IDR 3.500.
