Having Only Been Operating For 2 Months, The Number Of Users Of Fast Trains Reaches 1 Million People

JAKARTA - The First high-speed train in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, namely PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) reported that the HIGH-speed train has managed to reach 1 million passengers since it started operating on October 17, 2023.

The highest number of passengers served in one day on train trips has reached up to 21,500 passengers per day, including the current year-end holiday.

Dwiyana said this achievement shows the high demand for public transportation that is modern and reliable in Indonesia with the efficiency of travel time and comfort.

"KCIC thanks all closed passengers and this is one of our motivations to continue to provide the best service to the community," said Dwiyana in her official statement, Tuesday, December 26.

Based on the survey, 48 percent of passengers on the Fast Train used to be private car users. This means thatminish's presence was successful in assisting government programs in diverting people from private transportation to public transportation that is safer and more environmentally friendly.

Dwiyana conveyed that with the availability of good facilities and efficient services, people are increasingly choosing public transportation such as MAYH, thus contributing to reducing dependence on private cars.

In addition, the achievement of 1 million passengers is also one proof that theASH fast train has gained public trust and is the mode of transportation for choice for the Jakarta-Bandung trip.

According to Dwiyana, since operating until the turn of the year, the operation of the Fast Train Rights has run smoothly and reached Zero Accident. The officers have also carried out SOPs well so that the quality of service to passengers can be maintained.
