Before His Death, Lukas Enembe Had Moving From An Inpatient Bed At The RSPAD
JAKARTA - Former Papua Governor Lukas Enembe died at the Gatot Subroto Army Central Hospital (RSPAD), Central Jakarta, at around 10.45 WIB, Tuesday, December 26.
Lukas Enembe's attorney, Antonius Eko Nugroho, outlined the defendant's codition in the bribery and gratification case of infrastructure projects shortly before he breathed his last.
Before he died, Lukas had tried to move to get out of the hospitalization bed at the RSPAD. Lukas was assisted by his younger brother, Pianus Enembe, to wake up from lying down.
"Before he died, Mr. Lukas asked to stand up, then Mr. Pianus helped Mr. Lukas to stand up, holding Mr. Lukas' waist, he soon stood up, Mr. Lukas breathed his last," Antonius said in his statement, Tuesday, December 26.

Based on the family's explanation, Lukas wanted to get out of bed because he wanted to show a attitude that he was still strong in dealing with his case.
"As soon as, Mr. Lukas was not breathing anymore, we immediately slept and called the doctor. He had been given action, but you were dead," explained Antonius, continuing the family statement.
Lukas' health condition is said to have decreased since undergoing trial for the case that dragged him down. During the trial, several times Lukas underwent dialysis at the RSPAD.
It is planned that the family will take the late Lukas to Jayapura for burial on Wednesday, December 27 tomorrow.
