Pursuing One Price Fuel Target In 2024, BPH Migas Takes Several Steps To Accelerate
JAKARTA - The government continues to pursue the one-price fuel oil program (BBM) target. This is a form of the government's commitment to providing energy for people to remote areas of the country.
This program was implemented from 2017 and until 2023 a total of 512 distributors have been successfully built. It is targeted that by 2024, the total number of distributors of One Price Fuel will reach 583 distributors.
In order to support the smooth implementation of the One Price Fuel distribution, a Coordination Meeting was held attended by BPH Migas, Directorate General of Oil and Gas, and PT Pertamina (Persero) at the Labuan Bajo DPPU, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), last Friday, December 22.
Starting a coordination meeting, Member of the BPH Migas Committee, Basuki Trikora Putra, expressed his appreciation to all parties for the achievement of the development of the one-price fuel distribution.
"We all have to provide support to each other so that the One Price fuel distribution development program can run as well as possible. Hopefully, the 2024 target of total distributors who are built up reaches 583 distributors can be realized," said the man who is usually called Tiko in a written statement, Monday, December 25.
According to Tiko, the achievement of the development of One Price fuel distributors is not an easy thing because there are many challenges faced, including sustainability, security, and locations that do not meet commercially, so that partners do not get maximum benefits.
"In the construction of One Price Fuel, we must look at it comprehensively, including having to see if the locations can meet the initial goals related to access, fuel availability, affordability and sustainability, as well as commercial support so that partners can benefit from partnerships with business entities, and others," said Tiko.
He continued, not all regions have easy distribution access. Therefore, if it does not meet one of the criteria alone, then another option must be sought that is more accessible.
"Students properly and carefully examine location points for the construction of one-price fuel distributors in 2024 so that business entities assigned are not harmed and the development of distributors is beneficial for the community," he said.
To achieve the target of 583 distributors, in 2024 71 distributors must be built again and there are already partners who have expressed interest in a number of locations.
On this occasion, PT Pertamina, represented by VP Government Assignment Ryrien Marisa and Project Coordinator of Retail Fuel PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mardian, expressed their readiness to support the Government's policy regarding One Price Fuel.
In preparation for the development of distributors, PT Pertamina will detail the access, prospective partners, and areas that will allow them to be built in the first quarter of 2024.
