PLN Director Reviews Nataru's Electricity Readiness
JAKARTA - Director of Distribution of PT PLN (Persero), Adi Priyanto, directly inspects the readiness of electricity ahead of Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2024 at one of the standby posts of the PLN Main Distribution Unit of Greater Jakarta.
Adi saw firsthand the readiness of electricity in real time through the electricity distribution dashboard at the Distribution Control Center (DCC) at the PLN of the Jakarta Distribution Regulatory Implementation Unit (UP2D), Gambir, Central Jakarta. DCC is the center of command for electricity distribution in Jakarta.
General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Lasiran, explained to Adi that the electricity supply in Jakarta is sufficient and safe. Currently, PLN UID Jakarta Raya has an electricity supply of 9,062 MW with a peak load of 5,80O MW, so there are still 36% reserves.
There are 234 churches that are the main monitoring during Christmas celebrations. A total of 2,148 personnel were alerted 24 hours to maintain Nataru's electricity reliability.

"In order to welcome Christmas Day 2023, PLN ensures that the supply of electricity, personnel, and work equipment is in a reliable condition," explained Adi, Sunday (12/24/2023).
Adi directly monitors 16 electricity alert posts in the work area of PLN UID Jakarta Raya through the "teleconference" channel of standby officers at 16 posts reporting the latest electrical conditions and readiness to secure Nataru's electricity supply.
Adi asked all officers to go out in carrying out their duties to maintain Christmas and New Year's electricity. He also advised to prioritize the simultaneousness and health of work in every alert activity.
As a symbol of encouragement, Adi handed over gifts to officers at the DCC electricity standby post.
The management of PLN UID Jakarta Raya also did the same thing by giving Nataru a gift to the Post Office of the Customer Service Implementation Unit, Substation, Main Substation Office, Main Substation Main Substation Main Substation Mainstation Maintenance Maintenance Management Group, and to the Command Center.
