Electability Touches 50.2 Percent, IPN Survey Claims Prabowo-Gibran Has A Chance To Win One Round

JAKARTA - The IPN survey institute (National Public Indicators) claims that the presidential candidate pair number 2 Prabowo-Gibran has a chance to win one round.

Senior researcher Ike Sihotang conveyed the results of his research, the presidential-vice presidential candidate pair number 2, namely Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, had an electability of 50.2 percent.

"When the remaining two months were lacking, the electability of the Prabowo-Gibran candidate pair was at 50.2%," Ike said in his official statement, Sunday, December 24.

Meanwhile, candidate pair number 3 namely Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD is at 23.1 percent. Then for candidate pair number 1 namely Anies Rasyid Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin received 22.7 percent.

Undecided voters or those who have not made their choice are at 4 percent of the total.

If you look at that number, Ike assesses that the 2024 presidential election will only take one round.

"It's almost certain that in the remaining time until day H voting candidate pair number 2 will get a number above 50.0% so that it will come out as the winner in just 1 round," explained Ike.

As for the survey method, it is with a public opinion record to see how much potential the three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates will be in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

There are several indicators recorded by IPN in the survey. The first is about electability.

IPN asked the question if the presidential and vice presidential elections were held today, which of the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs will be selected below.
