Wants To Make The World Sharia Economic Center, Cak Imin: Indonesia's Position Is Still Below
JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin touched on Indonesia's position under other countries related to the sharia economy.
In fact, he said, Indonesia is the country with the highest number of Muslims in the world.
Therefore, Imin admitted that he would bring Indonesia to become the center of the sharia economy, not only as a market or Islamic economic market.
"Indonesia with the largest number of Muslims in the world as well as not only the Islamic economic market, the halal tourism market for the Islamic banking market, but also has the potential to become the center of the world's sharia economy," he said in a vice presidential debate quoted from the Indonesian KPU YouTube, Friday, December 22.
To bring Indonesia to become the center of Islamic economic growth, continued Imin, steps are needed to increase Indonesia's position.
"Our position, which is still below, requires important steps so that the so-called SGIE will increase our ranking," he said.
