Cak Imin Says 1 Percent Of The IKN Budget Can Build Roads And Cities Throughout Kalimantan

JAKARTA - Vice Presidential Candidate Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin highlighted the budget used to build the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan which reached Rp500 trillion from the state budget.

According to him, one percent of the budget can actually build roads, even cities throughout the island of Kalimantan.

"IKN is one example, if you rely on the State Budget of up to Rp500 trillion, even though 1 percent of the Rp400 trillion can build roads throughout Kalimantan in order, building cities throughout Kalimantan is done," he said in a vice presidential debate quoted from the Indonesian KPU YouTube, Friday, December 22.

Bahakan, sambung Imin, an IKN budget sebenefitnya bisa membangun sekolah yang layak di seluruh Kalimantan. Ia pun menekankan penyingnya membaca prioritas.

"The most important thing is that only 3 percent of the budget can build schools in Kalimnantan. That is an example of the ability to read priority scales," he explained.
