Malang - Malang City Police thwarted the circulation of dried marijuana with a total weight of approximately 11 kilograms, which was confiscated from two suspects with the initials HA (24) and FC (32). Malang City Deputy Head of Malang City Apip Ginanjar said in addition to 11 kilograms of marijuana, also confiscated 4.26 grams of crystal methamphetamine from the suspect HA who is a resident of Kedungkandang District, Malang City. He explained that the two suspects were arrested at different times. Suspect HA was arrested on December 12, while suspect FC, a resident of Junrejo District, Batu City, was arrested on December 18. According to Apip, from suspect HA's hands, officers confiscated evidence of marijuana weighing 5.12 kilograms and crystal methamphetamine weighing 4.26 grams. Meanwhile, from suspect FC, officers confiscated dried marijuana weighing 5.97 kilograms. "Both are suspected of being couriers," added Apip. Meanwhile, the Head of Satresnarkoba Malang City Police Commissioner Eka Wira Dharma said the two suspects were drug couriers from the Sumatra network. However, the two suspects did not know each other. "However, when we conducted a search, the items came from the same network in the Sumatra region," explained Apip. The suspect HA got the dried marijuana using a mine system, while the suspect FC got the goods from the expedition package. The police are still conducting an in-depth investigation of who is the major dealer behind the possession of the marijuana.
