Missing 3 Weeks, Elementary School Student In Bandung Turns Out To Be Sold To 20 Men With Nostrils

BANDUNG - Officers of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Bandung City Police Satreskrim arrested two men who sold a minor to 20 mashers.

The victim is an elementary school (SD) student who was reported missing after previously saying goodbye to school on November 28, 2023.

After searching for three weeks, the Bandung Police Satreskrim officers found a sixth grade elementary school student in Bandung who had disappeared from home.

In addition to securing the victim, officers also arrested two men, namely AD and DF, who were known to have sold the victim to dozens of mashers in an apartment in Bandung City.

According to the Head of Bandung Police, Kombes Budi Sartono, it was known that the victim, who was still in sixth grade, had not returned home, after previously saying goodbye to school to his parents, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

"After we carried out the tracking, initially the child left the house on November 28, 2023. Then on the same day the victim's parents asked the school that their child did not attend school and was declared missing," said Budi Sartono, in his statement, Thursday, December 21.

The victim did not return home because he was persuaded by the seduction of one of the AD suspects, known through social media. The suspect invited the victim KJB (12 years old) to stay in one of the apartments.

"Not only molesting the victim, AD also has the heart to sell the victim on the online dating site to the mashers for 11 days. Not only that, AD also had time to transfer the victim to his colleague DH who also molested and sold the 12-year-old victim to 20 other mashers," he said.

Until now, officers are still investigating the possibility of other victims, who were victims of trafficking in persons by the two suspects.

The two perpetrators were charged with Article 81 in conjunction with 76d of Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and Article 2 paragraph (1) of Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons with a maximum threat of 15 years in prison and a maximum fine of 600 million rupiah.
