Jokowi Claims There Are Local Investors Entering IKN Partnering With Foreigners
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) claims that many local investors have invested in the development of the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan (Kaltim). He said the local investors were partnering with foreign investors.
"As long as it's domestically still in droves, I think, but actually even domestic investors are already foreign partners. One, two, I know that partners are foreign, actually the same," said Jokowi after reviewing the construction of the Nusantara Hotel in IKN, East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Wednesday, December 20, confiscated by Antara.
Jokowi is pleased with the current development of IKN development. According to him, development in IKN must be monitored and checked every month.
"This is what I said, after (investors) enter one, the other must flock, the ones behind will flock again, with this (sector) which is different, there is a hotel, there is a mall, there is a sports center, there is a hospital, but indeed the progress every month must be checked, seen," he said.
